Business requirement

  • AA Asphalting is one of the largest asphalts and concrete restoration company in the Pacific Northwest. Their sales team was using Excel spreadsheet-based solution to keep a track of leads received daily, but it was little cumbersome as it involves extensive manual work for lead capturing, error in inputs, loss of sales due to lack of consistent process, and overhead of filtering, and categorizing the leads for territory. Due to the manual processes involved with there solution, there are ample number of dependencies and follow-ups before the lead enters the CRM.
  • The Advaiya team worked with the AA Asphalting leadership team to build a Canvas App solution for the inside sales team that enabled tracking and managing incoming leads in a quick and efficient manner directly in the Dynamics 365 CRM. As well as provide them valuable insights of their business by creating multiple Power BI Reports and dashboards for their Field Services and Business Central.
  • Along with that, they also wanted to easily manage and track all their data related to accident/incident tracking, damaged lines, and the safety tailgate form for the foremen and superintendents.
  • For AA Asphalting safety was necessary; therefore, they wanted to track the safety of the employees working on the field and see the daily incidents occurring in the form of accidents on the dashboard for different locations.

  • Power Apps for sales team to streamline process.Ā 
  • Automation to notify the owners and other relevant individuals in the organization to take actions for lead.
  • Power BI for BI and analytics to track their Revenue and Expenses margins. As well as Superintendent Dashboards to track revenue, profitability, turnover and many more KPIs for their daily BI requirements.
  • For this, we integrated the data from their APIs and stored all the required data in Azure SQL Server and provided them interactive reports to view all the KPIs at one place.Ā

  • Higher productivity because there are no rework processes needed for lead capturing, as no outdated system is being used.Ā 
  • A unified system to store, manage, and track leads and by using Dynamic 365, they got a platform to have an efficient system to manage their leads.
  • Intuitive dashboards and reports to help them increase their sales, save time and ability to view all the insights at their fingertips.
  • Easy to use Power BI reports and dashboards for getting weekly and monthly reports for their Business Central and Field Services which helped to ease their processes, streamline their operations and helped them in saving time as well.
