One of the largest service providers for water heater installation, repair, and service in Washington, Oregon, and California. 

The requirement was to develop and design a modern experience for technicians to do the technical evaluation done onsite while doing the water heater installation.

Solution

  • A PowerApps – Canvas App was designed to include the different technical evaluation categories and associated evaluation steps required to proceed

  • Auto enablement of section based on Job type was enabled and techs can easily proceed with evaluation as per job types assigned.

Outcome

  • Higher productivity – The presence of a mobile/tablet interface with offline capabilities helped process work even at remote locations and more importantly remove all manual paperwork and delayed status updates

  • A unified system to store, manage, and track all job evaluations done

  • Increased productivity by getting reports of all evaluations done
